Our business model

Humanities for Life is an independent not-for-profit. We cover all running costs, and intend to grow, through general public support. We invite all those who value the humanities to indicate their commitment. This is the offer we want to make to philanthropists:

“A broad base of people who teach, study, and believe in the humanities
are investing in Humanities for Life. Their commitment will leverage yours.”

As a foundation subscriber, you will have the opportunity to study, convene, and influence under the Humanities for Life banner:

  • offer an internship as a Humanities for Life employer, or undertake one as they become available
  • participate in dialogues and workshops on humanities advocacy and reform, online and in person
  • free entry, and you may help to initiate and convene, a local symposium or great books roadshow
  • be part of building the National Youth Humanities Forum
  • inform our work towards a professional training course for schoolteachers
  • collaborate on policy submissions
  • share best practice in humanities teaching and curriculum design.

We encourage you to join our paid up community: invest in Humanities for Life.
